3. Description of services

Shard Boutique Hotel offers accommodation services under an Adults Only policy, exclusively for guests over 18 years old.
The hotel features 9 unique rooms, a shared living area, a terrace with a panoramic view, a breakfast area, a fully equipped kitchen, a fireplace, and private garden access for some rooms.

All services are provided according to the hotel’s standards and are described on the website for informational purposes only.

4. Bookings and payments

Bookings can be made directly through www.shardboutiquehotel.ro via the integrated 5stardesk platform, or by phone/email.
To confirm a booking, full or partial payment of the stay may be required, as specified during the booking process.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Bank cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.)

  • Holiday cards (Sodexo, Edenred, Up România)

  • Cash at reception (for certain confirmed bookings)

Online payments are securely processed through the 5stardesk platform, compliant with international PCI-DSS standards.

5. Cancellation and refund policy

Shard Boutique Hotel operates under an Adults Only concept and reserves the right to select its clientele.

In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking, payments made are non-refundable.

If a guest notifies the hotel at least 7 days prior to the arrival date, it may be possible to reschedule the stay to another available period.
Rescheduling is permitted once only and must be confirmed in writing.

In case of a no-show, the payment made is forfeited in full.

6. Check-in / Check-out

  • Check-in: from 2:00 PM

  • Check-out: until 11:00 AM

Early arrivals or late departures are subject to availability and must be approved in advance.

7. Right to refuse accommodation

As an Adults Only establishment, Shard Boutique Hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation to:

  • persons under 18 years old;

  • guests under the influence of alcohol or displaying inappropriate behavior;

  • individuals who do not comply with the hotel’s internal regulations.

The hotel may cancel reservations that violate its internal policies without refunding payments already made if the client has breached these terms.

8. Privacy and data protection policy

Shard Boutique Hotel collects and processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

If no agreement is reached, the matter falls under the jurisdiction of the courts in Brașov, Romania.
